Worked perfectly the first time. It was easy to install and connect. I would absolutely recommend this switch. Not too much I can say about this network switch. It worked great when I had to replace a network hub that was failing.
Ports would just go dead and I'd have to switch the cable at that port to another open port.I called support serveral times and spoke with different technicians, but no one could get the switch to work correctly on those dead ports. I still have never gotten LinkSys to give me an RMA on the first.
My only real gripe was the support. So it's sitting in its box - big waste of money.The reason I gave this product a 4 star is because it works when it works.
For the price, I guess this switch is ok. I called multiple times to get the RMA instructions, but each time I called they wanted diag my switch again.Needless to say, I ended up buying a second one, which has been working.
In the future I'll probably be looking somewhere else for a switch. The first one I bought starting have trouble with the port on it.
They were supposed to email me RMA instructions, which I never got.
